Did the Coloro code system play a role in building your core and/or seasonal palettes?
Color has always been central to our brand. Over the years, we've built a strong core color lineup, and when we started working with Coloro, we translated every single one of those core colors into Coloro colors. The result: core hues that are precise, defined, and exactly right. For our seasonal palette, we rely on Coloro entirely, building vibrant aesthetics that generate genuine heat and turn our products into something people truly love to carry.
How does it fit in with your brand identity and customer preferences?
We design our bags to be functional, minimalist, and built to last. But minimalist never means boring. Through our partnership with Coloro, we've introduced vibrant colors that have generated real heat and resonated deeply with our community. It's a reflection of what we stand for: optimism, purpose, and joy. Our customers want products that look great and carry their values at the same time.

The Moon Bag Ruffle’s color range has been popular with customers. Did achieving this level of vibrancy with Coloro colors require any compromise or sustainability standards?
The MOON BAG RUFFLE is made with RE:NYNET®, a recycled nylon material crafted from discarded fishing nets. We specifically use RE:NYNET® for products that benefit from its lightweight nature, soft feel, and ability to hold brilliant colors. We achieved this level of vibrancy without compromising color quality or our strict standards. The main material remains bluesign® certified, water-repellent, and free of PFAS and PVC. We believe in progress over perfection, but when it comes to material safety and aesthetics, we don't compromise.
As a brand working exclusively with recycled materials, how do you find the process of using Coloro polyswatches for color selection?
We work strictly with recycled fabrics, rely on accurate tools, and design bags made to last. However, when working entirely with recycled materials—such as RE:NYNET® (crafted from discarded fishing nets) or RE:PET (made from coastal plastic waste)—achieving the right hue can sometimes be challenging. Using Coloro polyswatches gives us a grounded, reliable reference point. It allows our design team to visualize exactly how a vibrant color will interact with the unique textures of our fabrics. The Coloro polyswatches were the initial reason for us to start working with Coloro, as we exclusively work with recycled polyester and recycled nylon. With our previous color provider we couldn't translate our colors in an optimal way onto our recycled materials.

Do you find that the translated color is a close match to the original inspiration source in the Coloro library?
Absolutely. We embrace the reality of recycled materials, strive for absolute color accuracy, and celebrate the vibrant results. The translation from the Coloro library to our final products is remarkably close. We never had to compromise on color quality or vibrancy simply because we work with recycled materials. Seeing those energetic colors come to life on our bags brings genuine joy to our community. Small details like faithful color translation make a huge difference when creating products people truly love.
How important is this level of color fidelity when working with materials that naturally vary in tone and texture?
Color fidelity is everything to us. Working with materials like RE:NYNET®, crafted from recycled fishing nets, sometimes means navigating natural variations in tone and texture. Achieving precise color translation matters deeply because our community expects a premium, vibrant look that reflects our optimistic attitude. The Coloro system gives us the confidence to ensure our hues shine through consistently, proving that style and purpose can thrive together.

What has been your favorite part of working with the Coloro team?
We work with real people who genuinely care about what we create. Their support is outstanding and they are always there to help us navigate design choices and everyday needs. There is something truly special about collaborating with partners who understand our approach and share our dedication.
How would you describe the overall collaboration between GOT BAG and Coloro?
It's a deeply collaborative relationship built on mutual respect and a shared drive to create products people love. The Coloro team lives for color — they anticipate what our customers need and bring real energy to everything they do. They care about their craft as much as we care about ours, which makes the whole collaboration feel like a natural extension of our own work.

When executing your designs, how does the level of Coloro support compare to your previous color provider?
Before Coloro, there was no real relationship, no personal contact, no shared vision. With the Coloro team, everything changed. Today we have dedicated experts by our side who bring outstanding technical expertise and genuinely care about the details of our products and our everyday needs. That level of personal support makes our work easier, more joyful, and so much more fun. This is what a real partnership feels like.
