Deep Sea Guardians

"For 400 million years, sharks — these ancient, essential, and irreplaceable creatures — have ruled the oceans and kept them healthy, yet now they are disappearing at an alarming rate. We have made it our mission to protect them, because their survival is inextricably linked to our own."

ZIMY, FOUNDER OF DEEP SEA GUARDIANS

WHO ARE DEEP SEA GUARDIANS

Protection through research and education: Deep Sea Guardians is dedicated to protecting endangered marine life, particularly sharks. Through innovative projects such as the "Mako Shark Tagging" initiative in Mexico, they collect critical data on migration patterns to combat overfishing. In addition to research, the organization focuses on education: their "Youth Awareness Program" has already reached over 2,000 children worldwide, breaking down prejudices about sharks and inspiring the next generation of ocean protectors.

Real Work. Clear Evidence.

For over five years, the team has traveled the world documenting the shark finning industry and government culling programs. From expeditions in Taiwan to missions in Japan and Australia, they capture crucial images that would otherwise remain hidden. This documentation is essential for raising public awareness and driving concrete political change.
